Pedal Oak Park Bike Tour

After the hectic holiday weekend of fireworks and barbecues, why not kick-start this weekend with a quiet bike ride through Oak Park with the whole family at the Pedal Oak Park Bike Tour hosted by Greenline Wheels, 105 S. Marion St. The tour is from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, July 9, and costs $30 for members or $35 for non-members. And, while you're encouraged to bring your own bike, one will be provided at no extra cost if needed.

Tickets are available online at GoWright.org or at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio Museum Shop, 951 Chicago Ave.

Constructor Craft Fair

This Saturday, over 45 of the most talented crafters in the Chicagoland area will be setting up shop at FitzGerald's Night Club. They'll be selling everything from jewelry, artwork, home décor, food from food trucks and offerings from pastry artisans. Admission is free and open to everyone of all ages from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, July 9.

Also, be sure to get there early because the first 50 people through the doors get a free swag bag! For more information, visit www.fitzgeraldsnightclub.com or www.constructorcraftfair.com or call 788-2118. FitzGerald's is located at 6615 W. Roosevelt Rd., Berwyn.

Summer Concert in the Park

Finally, wind down the weekend with some free music at Scoville Park. The Chicago Grandstand Big Band will be performing everything from swing era music to big band Jazz, so grab a blanket, pack a picnic dinner and head out to Scoville Park, 800 W. Lake St. from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10.
