Tax the heck out of the people with houses so they can provide services to the increasingly dense renter population off Lake Street, all while allowing the streets and infrastructure to crumble. Does that about sum it up?

I'm sure that this presentation is going to explain how much of a tax increase we will need to pay for all the new plans... As if taxes in the village were not obnoxiously high already. Oh wait.. BO says paying taxes is patriotic so i should be happy I'm getting fleeced!

Island Dweller, you mean something like the 5+ monthly beat meetings they hold that you probably do not attend? They should add crime maps to that. And ooohhh....I know...I know...NEWSLETTERS! Wait, they've been doing all of that..for years. By the way, since when do cops provide long term strategies to the public? I'm sure someone does it but who?

Does this include planning public safety strategies that will actually be implemented. I remember the police were going to start some kind of long term strategy where they would compile all the data and make plans beaded off of trends, locations etc? Nothing has come of this, at least not publicly. I would like to see some kind of long term strategy implemented that involves more than waiting for residents to call them when something goes wrong.
