Park District of Oak Park reopens Rehm Pool for Wednesday night

Due to a power outage that closed Rehm Pool, Oak Park swimmers can also present their pool passes at the Forest Park Aquatic Center Wednesday

Update: Rehm Pool reopens Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. following nearly a day and half of being closed due to a power outage. The park district announced the reopening on their website Wednesday afternoon. Family swim will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by public swim until the pool closes at 8:30 p.m.

Oak Park pool pass holders will be also allowed admission to the Forest Park Aquatic Center Wednesday at no charge due to the power outage that closed Rehm Pool.

The Park District of Forest Park has offered to accommodate Oak Park swimmers for free. Pass holders can present their passes at the admission gate. Guest passes will not be accepted at the aquatic center, 7501 Harrison St. It will be open from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for adult swim followed by public swim until the pool closes at 8 p.m.

Rehm will reopen TODAY at 5:30pm today!! Family swim until 6:30, then Public swim to 8:30. Come on DOWN!!!

What they failed to say is this is the second day in a row that they have been closed. Don't care for Ridgeland the guards are mean there and the crowd is more wild. It always has been.

Hey Chauncey, stick it in your ear! Should everyone with kids who dont have family stay away from the pool they pay for? Sorry, but we dont live in the houses are parents left us. We have to work two jobs to pay for our houses and their property taxes.
