In an article titled, "These are selling times" [WJ Homes, July 17], in part regarding the marketing and sale of my Oak Park home — a reference to local realtors Jerre Cusick and Lynn Taylor was made. While the piece was otherwise accurate, it is possible to infer from it that in acting as agents for the sale of the house, the two were in some way inadequate; in fact, the opposite is true.
From my initial contact with these Gloor Realty agents last fall until the present, I have enjoyed their help, advice and unflagging support, and have benefited greatly from their knowledge and extensive experience in the local real estate market. Over the course of dozens of phone calls, emails and frequent face-to-face meetings, I have come to appreciate their admirable professionalism and the fact that, through a long, and at times trying, process, they were never more than a phone call away.
My home would not have sold without them.
