Colleen E. Clarke (nee Domrose), 62, of Oak Park, died on June 2, 2011 from complications related to Multiple Sclerosis.
Family and friends say she took great joy in their company s and will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, niece and friend. Those in her company recall her subtle sarcasm and dry wit which she loved to share with those she loved. She had a passion for life and travel driven by her curiosity and love of new experiences. A passionate cook with a genuine love for great food, she loved to try new recipes to enjoy with her family and friends. She was proud of her home and the gardens she created, especially her roses. She brought joy and happiness to all who knew her.
Colleen Clarke was the wife of Steve Clarke; the mother of Matthew (Emily) Clarke and Kelly (Aaron) Fankhauser; the daughter of the late Harold and Evelyn Domrose; the sister of the late Marilyn (the late James) Ludvik and the late Harold (Dallas) Domrose; and the aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be held on June 10, from noon till 4 p.m. at Dreschler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society are appreciated.
