"Trading Spaces," the reality show where neighbors redesign a room in each other's houses with the help of the show's stars, starting shooting this past week on Harvey Avenue, about a block from where a man was found bludgeoned to death earlier in the week.

One neighbor was upset by the inappropriate timing of the filming and because it appeared that crew members had staged some sort of argument on the block (see VIEWPOINTS, page 28).

But Marion Biagi, who lives in the neighborhood, said the presence of the filming was "a nice distraction" from the murder.

Representatives of Banyan Productions, Inc., producer of "Trading Spaces," did not return phone calls Tuesday morning.
