Thanks for supporting our fundraiser

The team that organized the fundraiser on April 26 for Lydia Villanueva Soto's husband, Domingo, profoundly thanks you for your participation. We were overwhelmed and gratified by the widespread response from businesses, organizations and citizens to our request for help. In addition to the 150 people who attended the fundraiser, many others agreed to help sell raffle tickets, donate items and services for the raffle and silent auction, donate food for the event and make financial contributions.

In spite of other demands on your time, dollars and resources, you stepped up to help this local family meet their extraordinary medical expenses.

Lydia and Domingo would like express their gratitude. The outpouring of support came not only from friends and family, but also from acquaintances and total strangers who were moved to help by the difficult challenges this family faces. We are reminded once again of how generous people can be to help a family in need.
