Eunice Gloria Singfeldt, 91, of Oak Park, died on June 16, 2014. Born on Nov. 10, 1922, she was a graduate of Wheaton College in 1944 with a B.A. in Education and received her master’s degree in Education from Northwestern University in 1956.

She taught for 44 years in the Chicago Public Schools. Her travels took her to several European countries and 44 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. 

Eunice Singfeldt was preceded in death by her parents, Knute and Hildur Singfeldt. 

Visitation will be held on July 2 from 9 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. at Calvary Memorial Church, 931 Lake St. in Oak Park. Private interment will take place at Forest Home Cemetery next to her parents. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Bethesda Home and Retirement Center, 2833 N. Nordica Ave., Chicago, IL 60634 or to Calvary Memorial Church. Funeral Arrangements were handled by Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home.
