The Oak Park Eagles 12UA team competed in the Longshots Memorial Day tournament in Downers Grove. The Eagles earned second place at the prestigious tournament, which hosted 21 teams from several midwestern states.

They played the Lockport Cobras, Tigers Baseball, IEC Eagles, Wisconsin Elite, and the Troy Titans. The Eagles won four of their five games, only losing in the championship game to the Troy Titans. There were two late-inning combacks to secure their place in the championship, including a game with a walk-off home run in the bottom of the sixth inning with two outs. Home runs from Michael Cerceo, Griffin Holderfield, Lucas Kolovitz, and Nathan Diamond helped the Eagles place into the championship game.
