Mills Park will officially re-open on Thursday after being closed for improvements since the late spring.
The re-opening is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., June 21, at 217 S. Home Ave. Contractors have created new entryways and walkways and a new labyrinth as part of renovations. Existing fencing was restored and some new fencing was installed, and 138 new trees were planted. Park staff hoped the improvements would make the park more inviting and open to visitors.
