Oak Park now a 'gulag'

I traveled into the Oak Park Gulag the other day. When I lived in Oak Park, I usually called the village "The People's Republic of Oak Park." But, it's gotten worse.

I wasn't in the gulag a minute when I was pulled over by three squad cars for not wearing a seat belt. Less than an hour later, while I was trying to spend some money on Oak Park Avenue, I was issued a parking ticket. Stalin would be pleased to know that his type of oppression went beyond Siberia.

And, what's with these characters dressed in police uniforms? They aren't policemen?#34;they're more like snitches.

The era of real policemen in Oak Park must have ended when Frank Kennedy and Rich Toll retired a few months ago!
