The William Staszak Award Dinner was held April 14 at the Oak Park Country Club to honor outgoing OPRF Superintendent Susan Bridge. Sponsored by the Oak Park Education Foundation (OPEF), the annual event raises funds for educational programs in District 97. Peter Sagal, host of the hit Public Radio show Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me, served as the emcee and kept the audience laughing. And Dr. Bridge’s acceptance speech was memorable.
