The Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust's 39th annual Wright Plus architectural housewalk on Saturday, May 18 was an overwhelming success, thanks to the incredible support and cooperation of the Oak Park-River Forest community. Thank you all!

Our gratitude goes to the Wright Plus homeowners who so graciously open their beautiful homes to us, presenting an experience unmatched in hospitality and architectural splendor. Thanks to our patient neighbors, who welcome our guests to the neighborhood. And a special heartfelt thank-you to the hundreds of volunteers who take so much pride in organizing this wonderful event. Their hours of planning, research and engagement make for a truly festive and lively day.

Our dedicated staff and board extend our gratitude to all of the Wright Plus supporters, our Ultimate Plus guests and our 2013 sponsors: Whole Foods, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Christy Webber Landscapes, Downtown Oak Park, ComEd, Community Bank of Oak Park-River Forest, Greenline Wheels, J.W. Marriott Chicago, Marion Street Cheese Market, Visit Oak Park, Winberie's, Baird & Warner, The Book Table, Cucina Paradiso, Divine Consign, Hemmingway's Bistro, Maya Del Sol, Heritage Tile of Oak Park, and Von Dreele-Freerksen Construction Co.

Thank you to our community partners, Cheney Mansion and Gardens and the Carleton of Oak Park, official hotel of Wright Plus 2013.

Our thanks also to the florists whose donated arrangements grace the tour homes: Carriage Flower Shop, Garland Flowers, Good Earth Greenhouse, Moss Modern Flowers Ltd., Flor del Monte, Schereck Designs, Tulipia and Westgate Flower and Plant Shop.

And finally, our gratitude to chefs Dave Esau, Daniel Herskovic and Dan Smith, who give their time and talents to create memorable Exclusively Wright Dinners.

The Preservation Trust's mission is to engage, educate and inspire the public through the architecture, design and legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright. The funds raised during Wright Plus allow us to preserve the Home & Studio and our other museum sites for future generations, and offer stimulating youth, family and adult education programs.

Next year will be a special year for the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust. In 2014, we will celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Home & Studio and the 40th anniversary of the Trust with an "All Wright" Housewalk, featuring 11 buildings, all designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. See you next year on Saturday, May 17.

Celeste Adams

President and CEO, Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust
