Patricia Tull Marti, 84, formerly of Glenwood and Salt Lake City, Utah, died on May 24, 2013 at her home in Oak Park. Born on Jan. 1, 1929 to the late Andrew and Emma Lankford Tull, she graduated from Longfellow Elementary and East High School. For many years she worked for the Utah State Historical Society before moving to Illinois, where she worked for Richard D. Irwin, Dow Jones Inc., before her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn A. Marti of Oak Park; her sons, Christopher L. (Linda) of River Forest, and Bruce (Lynne); and her grandchildren, Adam, Katelyn, Nathan, Taylor, Melissa, Mackenzie, Michael and Weston. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathleen (the late Glen) Irwin and Anna Tull.
A funeral service was held on May 28 at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, followed by interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) are suggested.
