Oak Park and River Forest have been known to be classical style resident locations. Recently the highly respected and influential New York Times newspaper has eulogized Oak Park, Illinois, to be a location for enjoyable tourist visiting.

For many years, in addition to being a place for a variety of interesting sights during summer months, plays by William Shakespeare have been performed in one of its parks called Austin Gardens. As a 40 year resident of Oak Park who has enjoyed seeing the plays, I would like to suggest that Austin Gardens park be renamed for the immortal bard Shakespeare in keeping with Oak Park's reference as a community of classical residential locations.
