Thank you for your coverage of Embrace, the communications outreach campaign inviting the community to point out people, places and institutions that contribute to local vibrancy. Your article ['Embrace' yourself: Oak Park group with positive bent, News, May 1] nicely captures this project, designed by a team of participants in the Oak Park-River Forest Community Leadership Program (CLP). The article further reflects the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation's commitment to achieving community impact through our grants and programs.

The foundation appreciates your coverage of Embrace and your recognition of the foundation's role with the Community Leadership Program. However, we would be remiss in not acknowledging that the Community Leadership Program is a combined partnership of the Community Foundation, the Communityworks Advisory Board and Dominican University's Brennan School of Business.

The Community Foundation's Communityworks Advisory Board selected Dominican's Brennan School of Business to bring to life an effective community leadership development strategy. It has ably done so by developing curriculum and providing learning experiences that enrich emerging and informed leaders.

The Communityworks Endowment Fund of the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation and Dominican University provide resources that support and fund the Community Leadership Program.

Executive director, OP-RF Community Foundation
