Harriette Tatter Jersild (nee Naef), 102, died on April 26, 2016 at Bethesda Rehab and Senior Home in Chicago. Born on April 29, 1914 in Merrill, Wisconsin, she was a 70-year resident of River Forest and active at Grace Lutheran Church. She was a legal secretary in Chicago for many years.
Harriette is survived by her daughters, Sue Ellen Tatter and Sarah J. Tatter; her grandchildren, Amanda and Andrew; her sister, Doris Moreland; and her nieces and nephews. Her family also includes Thomas Jersild, Susan Kolb, and their children and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at River Forest’s Grace Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17.
