Newcomer elected to OP Township board

Eric Davis pulled an upset Tuesday night, breaking up the slate of incumbents running for re-election to the Oak Park Township board.

As of 9:30 p.m., Davis led all vote-getters with 4,940 votes, trailed by Clarmarie Keenan (4,810), William Troyer (4,793) and Eric King (4,479).

Leroi Pulliam was not re-elected.

Davis previously served on the Youth Services Advisory committee and was an active Howard Dean supporter during the Democratic primaries in 2004.
