DePauw University freshman Emma Baldwin (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park River Forest) pitched a five-inning no-hitter on March 31 in leading the Tigers to a 9-0 win in the second game of a North Coast Athletic Conference doubleheader sweep over Denison. Baldwin is now 5-2 on the season with a 2.50 ERA with 66 strikeouts in 56.0 innings. DePauw is 13-8 overall and 4-0 in the NCAC.

Earlier this season, Baldwin was selected as the Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III National  Pitcher of the Week. She started a perfect 2-0, with 21 strikeouts and five walks, eight hits and three runs (two earned) for an 1.00 earned-run average over her first 14 collegiate innings. The Oak Park, Ill., native fanned 10 in a 4-3 win over Rhodes and struck out 11 in a 2-0 victory over Maryville.

During her senior year at OPRF, Baldwin went 13-7 with a 1.75 ERA, 173 strikeouts and just 12 walks in 120 innings in powering the Huskies to a supersectional appearance. She also excelled as a field hockey player.
