We need someone like Nations in District 200
Opinion: Letters To The Editor
I read D200 School Board candidate Steve Nation's "One View" in this paper last week and think he is spot-on when it comes to the idea of the erosion of trust between the school board and the community due to the school's budget surplus. It seems like most of the viable candidates in this race have been relatively quiet on this issue so I appreciate Steve's point of view. As Steve points out, a surplus sure beats a deficit, but we need someone on the board with the common sense to know how much is too much.
