Village trustees, Monday, amended a special-use permit for OPRF High School allowing up to two additional games per year to accommodate the football team if they make it to the playoffs.

OPRF Superintendent Steven Isoye told the board that the school has typically not used the maximum number of nights allotted for the games, adding that the amendment is aimed at giving the high school the flexibility if the team makes the playoffs.

Addressing the concerns of one resident, Isoye said the school did not intend to allow other teams to use the stadium for playoff games if OPRF is not competing.
