A long-time West Suburban colleague and friend, Pat Shanley, has recently received devastating news about her health. Pat had major surgery in March, and has since learned that she is in need of a liver transplant. Pat's challenges in the coming weeks will leave her without any remaining sick time, and she is ineligible for short-term disability insurance based on Resurrection's carrier's limitations.

We at West Suburban Medical Center have an opportunity to come together and help one of our own, to show that we are truly about compassion and care. Pat's colleagues at the Family Practice Center have asked that a fund be established in Pat's name, through the Resurrection Mission office, to help her and her family through this extraordinary time. Please consider joining us by sharing your blessings with Pat through a donation to the fund.

Employees or members of the public can go to the cashier's office at West Sub with the following account code: 1-2309-00000 Patricia Shanley Fund.)

This account will be open until May 31, 2005. The contributions to this fund will be given directly to Patricia.
