Dolores Fritz, 87, secretary at Trinity Lutheran Church

Dolores R. Fritz, 87, a resident of Oak Park for over 50 years, died in New Berlin, Wis. on March 2, 2013. Born in Stockton, Minn., on Oct. 25, 1925 to the late Arthur and Louise B. Stein, she was a graduate of Waukesha High School and attended business college in Milwaukee. She worked as a secretary at the former Amoco Oil Company in Chicago. After her retirement in the early 1980s, she served as church secretary at Trinity Lutheran Church in Oak Park for many years.

Dolores Fritz is survived by her siblings, Dayton (the late Eleanor), Wayne (Darlene) and Norman (Lola) Fritz; 21 nieces and nephews; and 31 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Robert (Carol) Fritz, Gerald (the late Lucy), Donna (Dave) Pfeiffle and Arthur (Myrna) Fritz.

Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 N. Ridgeland Ave. in Oak Park, on Friday, March 8 from 10:15 a.m. until time of service at 11:15. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in New Berlin, Wis., at approximately 3:15 p.m. that same day.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church are appreciated. Arrangements were handled by Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home.
