I found your endorsement of Bob Milstein to be bizarre and illogical. Your editorial begins by saying you want a "strong leader" who can bring change in both "policy and tone" to the Board of Trustees.
But then you describe Mr. Milstein as a "loud, dissenting voice" with a "fragile and overlarge" ego, who engages in "immature, nasty banter" with his current Board colleagues and is "too influenced" by the winds of public opinion.
All true enough.
What's more, you say you disagree with him on the major issues surrounding economic development in the Village!
Therefore, you conclude, Mr. Milstein is your choice for Village President.
I think your loyal readers deserved a more logical argument on such an important matter.
