The Friars (10-0) picked up a pair of Metro Catholic Aquatic Conference wins over Brother Rice and St. Viator last week. Fenwick held off a late St. Viator rally to earn a 13-10 win as Matt Bresnahan and Danny Farmer scored three goals apiece. The Friars also defeated Brother Rice 11-6 as Matt Farmer scored five goals and Trevor McLean added three goals.
"The boys have played a lot of games [recently] so fatigue set in a bit," Fenwick coach Kyle Perry said. "Our training schedule during Easter break should really help us reach the level of conditioning we're looking for to compete at a high level."
The Fenwick junior varsity teams also enjoyed a productive week with two teams finishing 4-0 each at Fenwick's 12th annual JV Invite over the weekend. Overall, the JV team is also 10-0 on the season.
