Experience counts! That is why I am strongly supporting Eric Davis in the upcoming race for the District 200 OPRF High School board, and encouraging everyone to vote for this uniquely qualified candidate.

Eric has served with distinction for the last eight years as an elected member of the Oak Park Township Board. He has participated in the township's annual budget-setting to ensure that not a dollar of taxes was wasted. Further, he has chaired key committees of the township board in a collaborative style.

The current high school board has made some choices that will require the new board to make complicated decisions, such as how to handle their large fund balance, and what the community considers to be a sustainable and fair way forward. It will be a challenge to retain our excellent faculty without either endangering the fiscal health of the school or carrying an excessive reserve.

As someone who has served not only as our township assessor, but also as a village trustee, I know that Eric Davis' long service as a township trustee has prepared him uniquely for service as a member of the D200 Board of Education.

Vote for experience. Elect Davis.
