Over the past months, we have heard a great deal about Cathy Adduci's vast experience and qualifications as a businesswoman as she runs for village president. There is no question she is qualified. What I'd like to bring attention to is her commitment to the community.

I have known Cathy for over 10 years as a fellow parent while our children attended St. Luke's. As with any school, volunteerism is important and necessary. Over the course of the years, parents are involved with sports, school trips, fundraisers, etc. It is through these activities that I've gotten to know her. She has been very generous with her time, her talent, and her creative mind. Although busy managing her family (including caring for her mother) and juggling a full-time job, she recognized the importance of being involved in school activities. I found her to be an exceptionally hands-on parent. She single-handedly coached the school soccer team for two years, which was a big-time commitment. She truly is an involved mom. She has a big heart and generous spirit for worthy causes.

If Cathy Adduci offers to do something, you can count on it. Her word is her commitment.
