David L. Campbell, 20, of Oak Park has been charged with felony stalking, after investigators determined he had targeted a victim with "a pattern of physical surveillance, verbal threats, and online harassment …via social media," according to the River Forest Police Department.

Campbell was arrested March 16 as the result of a stalking investigation. Police executed a search warrant for Campbell's cell phone, and stated the phone contained evidence consistent with the victim's report. Campbell appeared at the Cook County 4th District Courthouse on March 19 for a bond hearing, and again on March 20 for a preliminary hearing.
