OPRF softball cruises past Nazareth in opener

Baldwin, Foster power Huskies to victory

The Oak Park and River Forest High School softball team started the regular season on a winning note. The Huskies cruised past host Nazareth 12-6 in their season opener on March 22. Emma Baldwin, the Huskies' top returning pitcher, picked up the win.

Libby Foster led the offense with a three-run homer, four RBIs and a run scored. Sophie Mouros (2-for-3, 4 RBIs) and Elaine Warner (2-for-4, 2 RBIs) also contributed.
