John Rigas, Paul Wolfman, Valerie Fisher and Jacques Conway are the best candidates to serve Oak Park and River Forest on the District 200 School Board. Their experience, individually and collectively, is too valuable for our communities to lose.

The three incumbents, Rigas, Wolfman and Fisher, have been involved at Oak Park and River Forest High School as community members, serving on committees as diverse as the PTO, Citizens' Financial Advisory Committee, Boosters, Gang and Drug Task Force, as well as their varied board committees-Board Policy, Instruction and Finance and liaison to multiple school groups. The "newcomer," Jacques Conway, has served as a school resource officer for three years and has spent many hours inside Oak Park and River Forest High School with the students.

I am proud to say that Valerie Fisher has been a personal friend of mine for over 12 years, and I have had many discussions with her about our high school. In fact, we met doing committee work for OPRF. I can say, with absolutely no reservation, that her commitment to the high school and her desire to serve are genuine and sincere. I believe that the other three candidates are just as committed to high academic standards, financial accountability, open communication and continuing the tradition of excellence for all students in our communities.

Please vote for John Rigas, Paul Wolfman, Valerie Fisher and Jacques Conway on April 5.
