The members of Dudes Makin' a Difference would like to thank you and reporter Terry Dean for your great coverage of our holiday sale. As a new group struggling for publicity, your article on us (Dec. 21) provided a much-needed source of support and way to let others know of our group's mission.

We would also like to thank the wonderful vendors who provided the products for our sale. We acknowledge Barbara Cunningham of Silk Road Importers for her incredible scarves and other imported items; Nancy Gardner, ceramic artist, for her beautiful pottery; and Bronswood Cemetery of Oak Brook for their amazing poinsettias.

We look forward to sponsoring the education of our first group of students in Nepal and in anticipating all the good that will come from bettering their futures. Again, thanks for taking time and interest to support our Dudes Makin' a Difference service group.
