The Huskies swam to a third place finish at the West Suburban (Silver) Conference Meet on Saturday.

OPRF finished with 220 points, while Hinsdale Central (327) and Lyons (237) finished first and second respectively.

Kyle Patnode won the 200 freestyle (1:46.32) and set a new conference meet record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.13 seconds. Nikita Bondarenko took first in the 200 IM in 1:58.21.

Patnode, Mark Hallman, Nathan Pimental and Bondarekno won the 400 medley relay in 3:15.58.

"Physically, the guys are right where they need to be as we move into the final phase of the season," said OPRF head coach Clyde Lundgren.
