It's gotta hurt to lose a character you know how to draw so well, Marc. But like every great cartoonist- and you are one- you'll get the essence of who ever replaces him.

Marc - you are the voice of the community. You hit all nails on the head?

My favorite part of the paper, no matter what the topic, who the subject.

I will miss the great satires, as well. The parking meter cartoon was an excellent example of a picture saying a thousand words.

I agree Marc's cartoons are excellent and often wonder if his depictions of our Village Manager remided anyone else of one of the illustrated characters in a Dr. Suess book. No offense intended towards Mr. Barwin. Just an observation.

Marc, you are best editorial cartoonist at a community newspaper in the world. And you're a pretty good sales manager, too. Dan
