OPRF senior Hannah Rand recorded this music video for her song, "Not That Different", to honor Black History Month. OPRF senior Mary Alexander served as director for the project, while OPRF teacher John Condne produced it.

Alexander's mother, Deanne, said that the idea for the video came after Rand performed the song at a school assembly last spring. After hearing the song, Condne felt that it would be a great opportunity to pursue a music video. The video was filmed locally last fall.

"I was totally amazed at the hard work, determination and passion she had for this project. I was also struck by the enormous amount of support given by her teacher, John Condne," Deanne said about her daughter, Mary. "This is the kind of experience that a student is rarely exposed to."

Beautiful song, and great lyrics. Wonderfuly to see the talent and passion that kids at OPRF produce - and teachers are capable of helping the kids unleash.
