In an e-mail this morning, District 97’s Communications Coordinator Chris Jasculca informed students and parents that all after school activities for today, including parent-teacher conferences, are canceled due to the blizzard watch.

District 97 will work closely with staff, the village and districts 90 and 200 to determine if conditions require canceling classes on Wednesday, said the notice. The decision on whether or not to cancel classes will be made no later than 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday. District 97 will notify parents of a school cancellation via the automated phone and e-mail system, the district’s family of Web sites and local media.
