James H. McCauley, 71, Owned McCauley Mechanical Construction Inc.
James H. McCauley Sr., 71, died on Dec. 3, 2010. Born in 1939, he was devoted to his faith and his church, a respected industry leader and former president and owner of McCauley Mechanical Construction Inc. An avid woodworker and a good companion to man's best friend, "Laddie," he was described by family and friends as a man who understood that the real gift is in the giving and in the receiving.
James McCauley is survived by his wife, Mary "Johnnie" (nee Nulty); his children, James (Linda), Kathleen, and John (Leslie) McCauley; his grandchildren, Kaleena, Josh, Brandon, Kara, Lauren, Colleen, and Michael; his siblings, Mary Jo (Richard) Carey, Monica (Richard) Swartwood, Virginia Smith, Thomas (Kathleen) McCauley, Suzanne (Richard) Cartlidge; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 6, followed by interment at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
Contributions to the American Cancer Society, 17060 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park IL 60477, would be appreciated. Arrangements were handled by Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Homes.
