Dorothy M. Bachner (nee Reynolds), 100, a resident of River Forest for 75 years, died peacefully in her home on Dec. 20, 2014.  She was a longtime volunteer of the Infant Welfare Society of Oak Park-River Forest, Fenwick High School Mothers Club, and the Stritch School of Medicine's Annual Awards Dinner.  

Dorothy Bachner is survived by her children, Dorothy (Jack) Sauer, William, Robert, James and Terrence (Paula); her grandchildren, Michael (Tracy) Cizmar, John (Michelle) Cizmar and Jessica (Scott) Langford; and her great-grandchildren, Stephen and Patrick Cizmar. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Bachner; her son, John Jr.; and her five siblings.  

A visitation and mass were held at St. Luke Church on Dec. 23, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
