Public Works send the right signals

When driving on Jackson Boulevard I observed the traffic signal on Highland and Jackson was cycling as if the walk button was permanently operated causing a red light for Jackson every two minutes. This started at the end of October, causing traffic backups on Jackson.

Located at a school intersection, this signal is needed during school hours. This is a Smart signal; it will always be green for Jackson, unless the walk button is pressed or a car is on Highland, which will cycle the traffic signal.

I called the Public Works Department and reported the problem. I explained the problem to the dispatcher in the morning and noticed the traffic light was operating correctly the same day.
