Caponigri getting hockey fix
Contrary to what you read, hockey is being played this season. In fact, Oak Park native Paul Caponigri is playing hockey quite well for the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies.

Caponigri, a rookie forward for the Bullies, has tallied six goals in his last 10 games. As of last week, the former Huskie had scored a goal in five straight home games. He ranked fifth on the Bullies, and 15th among ECHL rookies in scoring with eight goals and 15 points.

Caponigri led Ohio State in scoring last season with 17 goals and 39 points.

Several past and present Huskies hockey club members are expected on hand for the game.

"We have a lot of returning people that will likely play and it should be loads of fun," said Dennis Grayson, father of OPRF goalkeeper Bob Grayson.
