On Dec. 6, I made what I thought would be a quick stop at Oak Park Village Hall. Upon arrival, I found there were no parking spaces available in the lot.
While waiting for a space, I discovered part of the problem. In a quick survey, I found two cars and a truck still covered with and surrounded by snow.
With the need for short-term parking, this seems a poor place for dead storage. I also noted a larger quantity of village vehicles also covered with and surrounded by snow. Does the village have a surplus of vehicles?
