Connie K. Barsanti (nee Kelly), 70, of River Forest, died on Dec. 7, 2013. Born on Dec. 25, 1942, she attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., and graduated from Rosary College, now Dominican University, in River Forest. 

She was a founding member of the Associates of the Sinsinawa Dominicans in Sinsinawa, Wis., past president of the St. Vincent Ferrer Ladies Guild, past president of the Women's Golf Committee at Oak Park Country Club, a former member of the Trinity High School Board of Directors in River Forest and a past president of the Women's Board, and a devoted friend and supporter of Misericordia Home in Chicago. 

Connie Barsanti is survived by her husband, Gene C., and her sons, Thomas and Patrick. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon (the late Diane) Kelly, and her parents, Richard and Edna Kelly. 

Visitation was held on Dec. 10 at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home in Oak Park. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in River Forest on Dec. 11, followed by private interment.
