The OPRF wrestling team continued to dominate last week by winning the Hinsdale Central Rex Whitlach Tournament outright by 8.5 points.

The Huskies racked up five first-place finishers to hold off powerhouse Sandburg, including Matt Rundell (120), Larry Early (132), Johnny Gahagan (145), Davonte Mahomes (160) and Joey Ariola (182). Gahagan defeated Sandburg's Alante Walker 13-3.

OPRF's Isaiah White took second at 126 pounds, while Kamal Bey (152) and Andre Lee (195) finished third in their respective weight classes. Sandburg was without No. 1 seed Bill Gore (220) due to an illness.

The Huskies finished with a score of 286.5 in the field of 25 schools, while Sandburg rounded out second with 278.
