Cora A. Morgan (Watson), 85, died on Oct. 25, 2012 at the home of her loving son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kerry (Ryan) Morgan where she had been living since early this year. Born on a farm in Harmony, Ark. on July 27, 1927, she was the daughter of Hermit and Ola Watson, and a proud resident of Oak Park for 54 years.
A strong, independent woman with a mischievous sense of humor, she had a love of travel. Most notably, she traveled independently and more than once, to a spa in Romania.
Cora Morgan is survived by her children, Annie (John) Arrigo, Rhoda Morgan, Bruce (Mary) Morgan, Denise (Robert) Sidlo, and Robert (Kerry) Morgan; and by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Morgan, who was a dedicated leader in Oak Park boys baseball.
Her life will be celebrated privately by her immediate family with a memorial service planned for a later date.
