D97 should take the path of least expense

I live right next door to District 97's current building. I am looking at the back entry as I write this. The economy is still pulling out very slowly and many have lost jobs, taken pay cuts, and have had many services reduced. I say take the least expensive route possible. You can't tax us to no end and expect the citizens to get less and pay more. I think it's time for the district to bite the bullet and smile. Air conditioning for the schools is needed due to earlier start dates and increasingly hotter summers.

I have no children in school; however, my wife is a teacher now and once worked for the most shameful excuse for an educational system in a large city just east of Oak Park. Talk about waste and misplaced priorities.

Whatever costs the taxpayer the least is my choice of resolution. You can only squeeze so much green juice out of these money trees.
