River Forest and Oak Park voters decided the fate Tuesday of their sales tax and their vaccines at the polls.

Amidst statewide votes for governor, senator and state treasurer, locals have the opportunity today to decide issues on a much more local level.

River Forest residents will weigh in on whether they add 1 percent to their local sales tax, and Oak Park residents will advise whether doctors should tack on a laundry list of cautions before vaccines are given out.
