Enrollment at Oak Park and River Forest High School has been steady at roughly 3,000 students for much of the last decade, according to annual enrollment data released last week by the high school. Approximately 3,185 students are taking classes for the current school year, a virtually identical number to students enrolled last year.
It was in the 2002-2003 school year that OPRF had just under 3,000 kids enrolled. Average class size during that same period has been steady at around 22.5.
The high school also released salary data for administrators last week, as required by state law that went into effect in 2009. Both Oak Park school districts will annually release salaries for administrators and post them of their respective web sites (www.oprfhs.org, and www.op97.org), though OPRF' will also release teacher salaries that will include years of service.
