By one in particular. The one he created for Club Penguin. What is this Club Penguin, you say? Do you have a child between 5 and 10? Do you have a computer? Do you let them go online? Your kid will soon begin clamoring for this website. We enjoyed the Fall Festival on Club Penguin the other night. Together we were able to get the feathered crown with all the tickets he won at the festival. I'm still only allowing the chat-free rooms for him, but how long will that suffice? I haven't ponied up for the membership fee either, he seems pretty content with the free stuff.

Go there with your kid (if you dare) and check it out:

Which brings me to my question for you: How much technology how soon for your young kids? Oak Park is a pretty forward-thinking place (imho) and we might have to answer these questions quicker than we will like to. What will you do? I'm already feeling like it is hard to keep up with new tech, and my day job is a network admin for a High School. I'm in the middle of Web 2.0 every day. But I'm still an ancient 36 in Web 2.0 years. No one wants to be my Myspace or Facebook friend except for younger family members who feel sorry for me and my pathetic Myspace page. (maybe they are just humoring me)
