What a season

It has been quite a ride this fall with the OPRF Huskies and its 9-2 season. Sure, the loss Saturday in the second round of the playoffs stings some. Even in defeat, though, these Huskies brought it.

After the football drought that had fallen over OPRF in past years, this season's energy and excitement were a treat. While there were standouts, this was a whole team effort. Best yet, despite some departures among seniors, OPRF had a sophomore team that was undefeated this fall. That should make the season ahead a great one.

Seems to me that both local teams had great seasons; it would not have killed the WJ to mention both in the editorial.
