Police arrested a Bellwood man yesterday in connection with an armed robbery attempt on the 700 block of South Kenilworth around 7 p.m. Police said a male victim was walking when he was approached from behind by an unknown male who allegedly placed a hard object against his back and said, "Just do this. Don't say anything." Police said the victim yelled for help and the offender fled north. Police found a man matching the suspect's description on the 600 block of South Kenilworth and the victim identified him. Bobby L. Donley, 29, of the 300 block of Marshall Avenue in Bellwood was charged with attempted aggravated robbery. No weapon was recovered. He was processed and held for bond hearings.

@Q: I am not the sensationalist, the WJ is. Maybe this should be flied under an attempted abduction?
