Zach Miskovic, a St. Lawrence University ice hockey defensemen, recorded one shot on goal during his team’s season-opening win over arch-rival Clarkson.

The Saints, picked to finish in the top four in the ECAC and ranked 16th nationally, won the 2007-08 NCAA college hockey premiere game, a game televised by ESPNU.

During the 2006-07 season, Miskovic played in every game for the Saints for the second straight season and finished the year with two goals and 10 assists for 12 points. He had an assist on the game-winning goal at Union and scored both of his goals on the opening weekend of the season against Niagara.

Tori Karsten, University of Delaware field hockey sophomore, scored her seventh goal of the season, but the No. 18 ranked University of Delaware field hockey team fell to Northeastern, 2-1, during a Colonial Athletic Association match up.

University of New Hampshire, field hockey Junior, Hannah Colestock, generated her first shot on goal of the season on Saturday against the University of Maine.

Lehigh University senior field hockey player, Stacy Sommerfield, had her second shot on goal this season against longtime rival Lafayette College.

Beth Seegers, a DePauw University field hockey junior, racked up stats during a match-up with the College of Wooster that included six shots goal, one goal and one assist.

Grinnell College freshman volleyball player, Elizabeth Davis, added 12 kills to her already team-leading stats against Knox College Saturday.
